About the Job
Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Adult Healthcare Assistant Day. This role will involve providing high-quality patient care in our 24-bedded unit, focusing on rehabilitation and supporting patients with varying complexities of needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, accurately and promptly carrying out instructions and duties as specified within the trust's Approved Core Task List for Clinical Support Worker.
  • To support patients' emotional well-being by engaging them in ward-based activities, promoting positive conversations and active participation.
  • To maintain accurate records of patient care, including electronic documentation on trust systems, while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • To respond effectively to clinical emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate care for patients.


Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be flexible, and able to work varied shifts, including day and night duties. Previous experience in a nursing or care assistant role is essential, along with basic computer skills and a willingness to learn. A Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required for this position.
