Chester, Cheshire, United Kingdom Cheshire West and Chester Full time

Cheshire West and Chester Council is committed to delivering exceptional Adult Social Care services, investing in a number of roles to grow and improve our services across various areas.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our statutory care and accommodation team as we transform the way we support people in Cheshire West and Chester to live fulfilling lives within thriving communities.

As a member of this innovative team, you'll work closely with local care and housing providers, alongside our housing, strategic commissioners, and adult social care teams who support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, neurodivergence, and mental ill health.

Your key responsibilities will include overseeing and managing the delivery of innovative housing solutions to help people find their perfect home for life, maximizing their independence and enabling them to thrive.

You'll be responsible for project managing delivery plans for 'properties' once care providers have been commissioned, ensuring property developments are feasible and monitoring progress against plan.

Additionally, you'll act as a point of contact for any questions from providers, supporting projects through housing benefits, and liaising between council teams and navigating internal and external management structures to ensure smooth project delivery.

We're looking for someone who can proactively work with colleagues from across council directorates and traditional organisational boundaries to understand all potential routes to identification and matching with appropriate accommodation solutions.

In exchange for your expertise and dedication, you'll enjoy a competitive salary of £35,000-£40,000 per annum, plus a generous holiday allowance, an excellent career average pension scheme, and opportunities for career development and training.
