Care Team Leader Role Overview

Care UK is a multi-award winning care provider seeking experienced individuals to lead and supervise their shifts, case manage residents, and administer medication. This role is ideal for those who want to make a difference in the lives of others and have a passion for helping people.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

We are looking for highly organized and IT-literate individuals who can allocate and delegate work effectively. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to lead and supervise others, possess a good understanding of care planning processes, and be experienced in administering medication. Additionally, they should have excellent communication skills, be able to work closely with the leadership team, and provide a fun, inclusive, and professional approach at all times.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise your shift, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Case manage residents, liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure that the best care plans are created and delivered.
  • Administer and record medication, conducting risk assessments as needed.
  • Work alongside care assistants to support residents with daily needs, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop services and improve resident outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care (desirable).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • IT literate, with experience in using software applications relevant to the role.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on residents' lives.
