About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Proposal Manager to join our team at Reveal Media. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end proposal management process, including opportunity identification, qualification, and proposal submission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute proposal strategies that align with the company's goals and customer requirements.
  • Manage the proposal process in line with budget, resources, products, and services.
  • Ensure compliance with all customer requirements, legal regulations, and international standards.
  • Uphold an understanding of market trends and competitor activity to inform proposal strategy.
  • Review bid invitations, conduct bid/no-bid analysis, and establish appropriate timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to gather all required information to develop the proposal strategy and content.
  • Coordinate and facilitate proposal meetings, ensuring key stakeholders provide input and concerns and issues are addressed.
  • Work with sales/commercial teams to develop competitive pricing strategies that align with proposal requirements and profitability targets.
  • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure proposal content meets all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop compelling and persuasive proposal content, including executive summaries, value propositions, pricing models, and technical responses, as appropriate.
  • Manage timelines to ensure high-quality proposals are submitted on time.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate proposal documentation, including proposal files, records of communication, and pricing information.
  • Monitor and track proposal performance metrics, analyzing win/loss data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct post-proposal debrief sessions to discuss areas of improvement and implement lessons learned for future proposals.
  • Continuously refine and improve the proposal processes, templates, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, market insights, and emerging best practices in proposal management.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a proposal manager or a similar role.
  • Experience in managing proposals for complex projects or large-scale contracts.
  • Knowledge of UK public sector procurement processes, regulations, and frameworks.
  • Demonstrable success in winning proposals through effective proposal management.
  • Understanding of pricing strategies and financial analysis in proposal development.
  • Strong understanding of the proposal lifecycle, from proposal submission, development, and contract negotiation.
  • High standard of MS Office skills.
