March Personnel is seeking a skilled Proposal Management Lead to oversee the comprehensive bid management process. The role offers a competitive salary of £40,000 to £45,000 per annum for a four-day work week.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the complete bid management cycle, encompassing opportunity identification, qualification, and proposal submission.
- Ensure adherence to all client specifications, legal standards, and international regulations.
- Conduct thorough reviews of bid invitations, perform bid/no-bid assessments, and set appropriate timelines.
- Collaborate with internal departments and subject matter experts, including sales, technical, legal, ISO, finance, and HR, to compile necessary information for developing bid strategies and proposals.
- Work alongside sales and commercial teams to formulate competitive pricing strategies that align with bid requirements and profitability objectives.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to guarantee that bid proposals fulfill all legal and regulatory obligations.
- Create engaging and persuasive bid content, including executive summaries, value propositions, pricing models, and technical responses as needed.
- Manage timelines effectively to ensure the timely submission of high-quality bids.
- Monitor and analyze bid performance metrics, reviewing win/loss data to identify trends and areas for enhancement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market insights, and emerging best practices in bid management.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in managing bids for complex projects or large-scale contracts.
- A track record of success in securing bids through effective management.
- A solid understanding of pricing strategies and financial analysis in bid development.
- A comprehensive grasp of the bid lifecycle, from submission to development and contract negotiation.
- High proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with bid management software (desirable).
