Apricus Resourcing Ltd is seeking a passionate and dynamic Substance Misuse Recovery Support Specialist to join their award-winning team. Based in the heart of Oxfordshire, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals struggling with addiction.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing holistic support to service users, empowering them to overcome their struggles and achieve a better quality of life. This will involve working closely with the therapy team to deliver a comprehensive treatment program, ensuring that each individual receives the care and attention they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering therapeutic interventions to service users
- Coordinating daily activities and tasks to promote recovery and well-being
- Monitoring and administering medication as required
- Working collaboratively with the therapy team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Providing emotional support and guidance to service users
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A strong understanding of substance misuse and its effects on individuals and communities
- Experience of working in a therapeutic environment, preferably with vulnerable adults
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate and non-judgmental approach to working with service users
- Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
What We Offer:
