We are seeking an experienced Head of Portfolio to lead our change delivery teams and drive business transformation across the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CRM and portfolio management, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and drive effective change delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date portfolio information and associated roadmaps
  • Provide oversight and coordination of portfolio activities with other Heads of Portfolio
  • Ensure alignment between change initiatives and organisational strategy
  • Make recommendations to governance groups based on key information and data analysis
  • Lead financial reviews of change within portfolios, comparing estimates to actuals
  • Resource planning and capacity management within portfolios
  • Line management responsibility for change delivery staff
  • Recruit to portfolio teams as required
  • Demonstrate effective stakeholder engagement and communication
  • Report on portfolio status and make recommendations
  • Chair portfolio governance meetings
  • Identify and share lessons learned
  • Establish effective working partnerships with stakeholders
  • Coordinate portfolio reporting and cross-portfolio risks and dependencies
  • Input to organisational strategy and direction of project management
  • Maintain and monitor budget across portfolios
Requirements
  • Strong experience in CRM and portfolio management
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in the higher education sector is advantageous
