We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Director to join our team in the DACH region. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business development, a proven track record of success, and a strong understanding of the financial data industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a business development strategy that drives revenue growth and expands our customer base. This includes identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and presenting compelling value propositions to prospective customers.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and independently manage their workload. A strong understanding of the financial data industry, including macroeconomics and financial markets, is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a business development strategy that drives revenue growth and expands our customer base.
  • IDentify new business opportunities and build relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Presentation preparation/presentation of compelling proposition proposals.
  • Demonstrating the capabilities of the Macrobond platform.
  • Maintaining relationships with identified contacts in target accounts.
  • Planning and managing webinars and marketing campaigns.
  • Weekly on-time reporting of sales pipeline and forecasting information that demonstrates a prospect base being developed to meet sales quotas.

An estimated salary for this role is €80,000 - €100,000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the financial data industry.
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and expanding customer bases.
  • Strong understanding of macroeconomics and financial markets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and independently manage their workload.
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written German required.
