Macroeconomic Analyst Position

Scott Associates Ltd. is seeking an experienced Macroeconomic Analyst to join their team in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain economic models for IFRS9 purposes and stress testing regulatory exercises.
  • Enhance and develop in-house econometric models with an understanding of accreditation for audit use.
  • Produce thought leadership highlighting key trends and risks at sector and business level.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a macroeconomics team/unit at a professional services company, Central Bank, or Think Tank.
  • Strong understanding of global and UK macroeconomic data sources and providers.
  • Experience in data wrangling, cleaning datasets, and using R and Python for time series estimation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts in clear terms.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
