About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Receptionist/Administrator to join our team at London Road Medical Practice. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be the first point of contact for patients and provide a warm and welcoming experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments as needed.
- Process patient payments, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic information, medical history, and treatment plans.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and photocopying.
- Collaborate with the practice team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical reception or administration role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in medical software systems.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
