We are seeking a dedicated Enhanced Admin & Triage Support professional to join our Family of friendly and supportive GP team members. This non-clinical role requires basic clinical knowledge and understanding to assist in triaging patients, as well as supporting our reception and admin teams with daily tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Triage**:

- Efficiently and effectively assess, prioritize, and direct patient inquiries, issues, or cases to the appropriate channels for resolution.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for incoming patient inquiries, ensuring prompt and accurate handling according to established protocols.
- Utilize basic clinical knowledge to understand patient needs and urgency, ensuring they receive the appropriate level of care.
- Provide courteous, conscientious, and excellent communication to all patients and team members.
- Work collaboratively within the team, demonstrating an enthusiastic attitude towards personal development and training.
- **Administrative Support**:

- Assist the reception team with daily tasks, including appointment scheduling, patient check-ins, and handling phone calls.
- Support the admin team with data entry, filing, and other administrative duties as required.
- Help process daily tasks such as managing patient records, processing referrals, and handling patient correspondence.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the GP & MDT, providing necessary support to ensure efficient practice operations.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude to foster a positive team environment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working in a GP surgery. (Beneficial)
- Knowledge of the EMIS Web clinical system. (Beneficial)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. (Essential)
- An enthusiastic approach to personal development and ongoing training. (Essential)
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, effective decisions. (Essential)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44-£12.70 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 37.5 per week
