Marketing Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Brand Marketing to join our team at Jacobs Douwe Egberts. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing brand marketing strategies that drive business growth and customer engagement.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, with a focus on brand activation and customer experience. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class marketing campaigns that meet our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute brand marketing strategies that drive business growth and customer engagement.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class marketing campaigns that meet our business objectives.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand retailer objectives and align with our business priorities.
- Measure and evaluate customer activation spend to ensure positive ROI and inform future planning.
- Support the development of toolkits and activation ideas relevant for customer activation plans.
- Interpret shopper insight data to inform marketing and customer strategies.
- Lead the planning of annual Customer Brand Planning days in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years experience in an FMCG sales, marketing, activation, or shopper marketing role.
- FMCG market knowledge.
- Ability to identify insights across multiple data sources.
- Financial acumen: able to build and track simple P&L's and to manage and track budgets with strong forecast accuracy.
- Good excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Mobile - ability to travel to customers within the UK.
Additional Information:
Your week will be split between our Maidenhead office and remote working.
