Opportunity Summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Emergency Planning and Business Continuity Officer to join our client's team in North London. As a critical member of the Civil Contingencies team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organization's readiness and response to potential emergencies.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Support Civil Contingencies Team: Collaborate closely with the Head of Civil Contingencies to develop and implement effective emergency planning and business continuity strategies.
  • Project Management: Successfully lead and manage projects aimed at enhancing emergency preparedness and compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to ensure staff are adequately prepared to respond to emergencies.
  • Evaluation and Improvement: Regularly assess and report on the effectiveness of emergency planning initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and recommending strategic enhancements.
