NHS Emergency Response Lead

We are seeking a seasoned NHS Emergency Response Lead to join our team at Venn Group. This role involves being a subject matter expert for emergency response, focusing on planning, policy development, and ensuring compliance with the Civil Contingencies Act 2004.
Main Objectives:- Work collaboratively with the Head of Emergency Response to achieve Category 1 status under the CCA 2004
- Develop, implement, and review emergency response plans, policies, and procedures
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure effective incident response and business continuity
- Drive the development of the annual emergency response plan
- Provide strategic guidance and support for project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
- Produce regular reports on emergency response performance for governing bodies
- Participate in multi-agency incident response groups, including assessment, management, and coordination
- Demonstrated expertise in emergency response and the legislative framework
- Relevant experience within the NHS or related sector
