About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Teacher of Maths to join our team at Phoenix Learning and Care Group. As a Lead Teacher of Maths, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of maths curriculums across the school, working closely with teachers and teaching assistants to ensure that maths is taught in a way that is engaging and accessible to all students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of maths curriculums across the school
  • Work closely with teachers and teaching assistants to ensure that maths is taught in a way that is engaging and accessible to all students
  • Monitor and record student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness and developing strategies to address any gaps in learning
  • Provide coaching and support to teachers and teaching assistants to help them develop their maths teaching skills
  • Collaborate with other subject leaders to ensure that maths is integrated into the broader curriculum
Requirements
  • Experience of teaching maths in a school setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and teaching assistants
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement
