Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team in Chorley, Secondary Alternative Provision. This is a casual opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, assisting students and teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in their learning and development.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and managing the classroom.
  • Provide individualised support to students as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Previous experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable but not essential.
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.

The salary for this role is approximately £12,900 per annum, based on a part-time schedule, with an hourly rate of £12.90.
