Academics Ltd is committed to providing high-quality education and support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). We are seeking a dedicated and caring SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team in Luton, where you will play a vital role in helping students with diverse needs overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

The Job Requirements:
Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Working closely with students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties, to provide personalized support and guidance.
  • Assisting the classroom teacher in developing an inclusive learning environment that promotes social and emotional development.
  • Collaborating with teachers and parents to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to each child's unique needs.

About the Ideal Candidate:
We seek a candidate with a strong passion for working with children with SEN, a calm and patient demeanor, and excellent communication skills. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential, as we provide comprehensive training and ongoing support. A relevant qualification (such as Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) would be advantageous but is not required.
