Special Needs Education Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEND Teacher to join our team at SEND Inclusion Support. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
As a SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering lessons that cater to the individual needs of our students. You will work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement personalized learning plans that address the unique needs of each student.
The successful candidate will have experience working with primary-aged students with SEND, ideally in a special school or similar setting. They will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and deliver lessons that meet the individual needs of students with SEND and complex needs.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every pupil feels safe, respected, and valued.
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement personalised learning plans.
- Regularly assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to students and their families.
- Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to engage and motivate students with diverse learning styles.
- Support pupils' personal and social development, helping them build confidence and independence.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working with primary-aged students with SEND, ideally in a special school or similar setting.
- Knowledge of various SEND conditions and effective strategies to support students' learning and development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children with SEND.
