Housing Support Worker

We're seeking a dedicated and caring Housing Support Worker to join our team at Completely Care. As a Housing Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals find and maintain safe and stable housing.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time temporary position offering a competitive hourly rate of £15.75. You'll be part of a dynamic team providing comprehensive support services to those in need.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and develop personalized housing plans
  2. Collaborate with clients to access suitable housing options and provide ongoing support
  3. Manage caseloads efficiently, maintaining accurate records of client interactions and progress
  4. Work closely with external agencies, landlords, and housing providers to secure housing solutions
  5. Lead workshops and group sessions on housing-related topics, promoting education and awareness

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with marginalized populations, particularly those experiencing homelessness
  • Knowledge of local housing options and housing legislation
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy and a non-judgmental approach
  • Strong organizational skills and basic computer proficiency
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (desired)
