**About Us**

Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest employers in the area, on an exciting journey. We have entered into a Group Model with neighbouring Northampton General Hospital and become University Hospitals of Northamptonshire.

We want to recruit the best people to deliver our services across the University Hospitals of Northamptonshire and help unleash everyone's full potential. As an organisation, we value how we communicate and promote our vacancies to all communities.

The volunteers come from a variety of local faith / belief groups and work with the chaplains to meet the pastoral and spiritual needs of our patients.

We encourage applications from people who identify from all protected groups, especially those from BAME, Disabled and LGBTQ+ backgrounds as these are underrepresented in our hospitals.

We offer a unique opportunity to make a tangible difference in your local community by providing directional support to guide patients to the correct areas within A & E and other parts of the hospital, chatting and engaging with patients, ensuring stock for staff i.e. alcohol wipes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide directional support to patients
  • Chat and engage with patients
  • Ensure stock for staff
