Pediatric Health Specialist

Primary Care 24 is seeking an experienced Advanced Paediatric Nurse Practitioner (APNP) to join our paediatric primary care streaming service at Alder Hey Children's Hospital.
This role involves assessing, diagnosing and providing advice, care and management to children and young people presenting with undiagnosed or undifferentiated illness via face-to-face assessments.
About the Role- You will work autonomously within your professional boundaries, demonstrating clinical reasoning, critical thinking and high-level practice, supported by GP colleagues in the Urgent Care Centre.
- You will assess, diagnose and provide advice, care and management to children and young people presenting with undiagnosed or undifferentiated illnesses.
- You must hold a master's in advanced clinical practice, credentialling qualification (or equivalent) and non-medical prescribing qualification.
- You must have extensive paediatric expertise, be confident in undertaking comprehensive face-to-face assessments and communicating robust management plans following clinical review and examination.
- You must practice autonomously whilst demonstrating a child and young person-centered approach to meet PC24 patient healthcare needs.
- You will receive a salary of £30.16 per hour, depending on experience and shift times.
- You will be entitled to additional hours available in our Urgent Care and Primary care divisions.
- You will have access to NHS pension scheme benefits.
We offer various shifts, including Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm, Wednesday to Friday from 3pm to 9pm, Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 3pm and 3pm to 9pm.
