We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Officer to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing debt, preparing VAT returns, and analyzing financial data.
Key Responsibilities- Manage debt through sales ledger, reminders, and customer statements
- Liaise with Central Legal Office on long-term debt
- Prepare monthly VAT returns
- Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Assist in the administration of insurance claims
- Working knowledge of finance/sales systems
- NVQ/SVQ Level 4/AAT technician level or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a busy office environment and prioritize tasks
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and financial systems
