We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our month-end processes, and providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.

Job Purpose

The Management Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and high service levels of our finance function. This includes preparing accurate and timely management accounts, conducting variance analysis, and providing financial reports and presentations to senior management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Conduct regular variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies in financial performance.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management, including the CEO and CFO.
  • Oversee and support junior members of the team, including bank reconciliation and accounts payable controls.
  • Manage intercompany accruals and transactions.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed reports and analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare payroll and quarterly VAT returns.
  • Work with the CFO on year-end reporting and liaise with accountants.
Requirements
  • Qualified with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in a fintech or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in financial software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
