Role Summary

This is a demanding yet rewarding role that requires a qualified and experienced Supervising Social Worker to provide direct support to foster parents, ensuring their compliance with regulatory standards. You will work in partnership with children, young people, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing direct support to foster parents, including regular supervision and quality assurance.
  • Working in partnership with children, young people, and foster parents, as well as other professionals, local authorities, and stakeholders.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive working knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary up to £36,000 per annum, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including a £3,000 car allowance, 30 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays, company pension, life assurance, employee discount scheme, and medical cash plan.


Requirements
  • A recognised qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in children and families social work.
  • A comprehensive working knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services.
  • Full driving licence with unrestricted access to your own car.
