About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fostering Programme Support Specialist to join our Integrated Services Programme (ISP) team.

This is a rewarding role that involves working closely with foster parents and children, providing regular visits, advice, and information on services and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing expert advice on matching considerations, respite care, training, supervised contact, and transportation arrangements.
  • Working collaboratively with foster families to understand their needs and provide tailored support.
  • Liaising with external agencies to ensure seamless provision of services.

To be successful in this role, you will require a strong understanding of fostering regulations, experience in a therapeutic model of childcare, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements:
  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, child psychology).
  • Proven experience in a similar role or related field.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

  • A competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum.
