Job Description: Primary Care Network GP Assistant

Location: Somerset, UK

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Primary Care Network team as a GP Assistant. The successful candidate will have excellent administrative and communication skills and be able to work effectively in a busy GP practice.

The role will involve providing support to GPs with routine administration and clinical tasks, extracting information from clinical letters for coding and adding to clinical notes, and completing basic administration for GPs to approve and sign documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to GPs with routine administration and clinical tasks
  • Extracting information from clinical letters for coding and adding to clinical notes
  • Completing basic administration for GPs to approve and sign documents
  • Assisting GPs with immunisations and wound care

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent administrative and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy GP practice
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures and fire precautions
