**About the Role**

The Buckinghamshire Safeguarding Adults Board is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Safeguarding Adults Leader to provide strategic leadership and direction to the Partnership.

As the Independent Chair, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of the safeguarding adults agenda across the county, promoting the best outcomes for vulnerable adults and their communities.

With a strong operational and strategic understanding of adult safeguarding, you will lead the Partnership in its mission to keep adults safe in Buckinghamshire, working collaboratively with partners to drive positive change.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide independent leadership and strategic direction to the Partnership
  • Develop and implement effective safeguarding strategies to improve outcomes for vulnerable adults
  • Represent and promote the reputation of the Partnership at regional and national levels
  • Work collaboratively with partners to drive positive change and improve adult safeguarding across the county

**Requirements**

You will need to have a strong track record of leadership experience in safeguarding adults, with a deep understanding of the adult safeguarding agenda and its implementation.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential, as you will work with a range of stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
