Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 Senior Safeguarding Practitioner to join our team in the NHS. This role is responsible for providing expert advice and support to colleagues on safeguarding adults and child protection concerns.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult and child protection, with experience working in a clinical area as a Band 6 or 7. They should also possess excellent analytical skills, IT literacy, and the ability to facilitate learning in others.

Main Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement effective communication channels with the Buckinghamshire Safeguarding Adults and Children's boards.
  • Provide expert advice and support to colleagues on safeguarding adults and child protection concerns.
  • Safeguard adults and child protection training for all colleagues.
  • Robust internal policies and guidelines for safeguarding adults.
Essential Requirements
  • NMC Registered Nurse/RMN/RNLD, Registered Social Worker or Registered HCPC AHP.
  • Relevant degree or working towards or demonstrate equivalent in experience and knowledge.
  • Experience working with adults at risk and/or children.
  • Experience of delivering training.
