Responsibilities

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the engine maritime industry.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve business targets.
  • Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, utilizing strong negotiation skills to close deals effectively.
  • Account Planning and Relationship Building: Develop and support account plans, maintaining business relationships and driving revenue growth.
  • Business Proposal Development: Contribute to new business proposals with tailored solutions, communicating emerging needs and trends to shape sales strategy.

Requirements

  • A college degree in marketing, sales, technical, or a related subject is required; an acceptable combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing roles within the engine maritime industry is required.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving revenue growth and achieving business targets in the marine sector is essential.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively are critical to success in this role.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills are necessary to manage multiple projects and teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is often preferred.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
