About the Job

We are looking for a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Non-Emergency Patient Transport Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient transport services.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating the distribution of patient journeys, managing operational staff, and providing an effective communication link with the public and healthcare professionals. You will also be required to utilize control systems to record patient information, plan patients' journeys, and control resources.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a good general level of education. You will also have experience in route planning and scheduling resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide effective telephone answering and respond to service queries or complaints.
  • To receive and record all aspects of patient-related information on computer terminals.
  • To plan patients' journeys and control resources using control systems.
  • To pass journey details to vehicle crew staff and update computer systems.
  • To liaise with G4S contracts, staff, and other agencies using telephones and emails.
