Patient Transport Specialist

At Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia, we are seeking Ambulance Transport Attendants to provide high-quality patient transport care in our community. This casual position offers salary packaging and a chance to work with our experienced team.
About the JobWe are looking for individuals who can deliver the highest quality patient care and treatment during on-road transport of patients with various medical conditions.
Key responsibilities include performing patient assessment and intervention on-road, providing high-quality patient care and treatment during on-road transport, developing and maintaining positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders, assessing the effectiveness of any intervention in accordance with all RFDS MPC guidelines, NEPT regulations, and within prescribed scope of practice, and working collaboratively with other team members.
Requirements- Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance) or equivalent qualification recognized by RFDS or DHHS
- Evidence of successful completion of required clinical placements and a Clinical Skills Assessment
- Hold a FULL Victorian Drivers licence and have the ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions
- Availability to work across a 7-day 24-hour roster with 10 & 12 hour shifts
