  • Communication: Deliver regular communication briefings to keep the team informed of company and local issues, encouraging input and feedback.
  • Goods Inwards: Manage the Goods Inwards area to ensure quick and efficient receipt of goods, minimizing damage and ensuring stock availability.
  • Team Development: Develop all team members to maximize their contributions to the warehouse, creating a succession plan for future growth.
  • Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures: Carry out disciplinary and grievance interviews and investigations in line with company procedure.
  • Sickness Absence: Monitor and control sickness absence levels, conducting return-to-work interviews effectively and efficiently.
  • Time and Attendance: Monitor and control the time and attendance system, ensuring accurate records and minimizing unauthorized absences.
  • Overtime and Agency Workers: Ensure the appropriate levels of overtime and agency workers to efficiently and cost-effectively run the shift.
  • Company Policies and Procedures: Enforce and adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
  • Training and Development: Monitor and control training for teams, ensuring the correct amount of Health and Safety representation on shift.
Requirements:
  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in using computer systems, including Excel.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to deliver accurate information and engage with team members.
  • Adaptability: Adaptable and methodical approach to work, training, and working hours.
  • Reliability: Conscientious and reliable, with a strong work ethic.
