Senior DC Pensions Consultant Role
Mercer is seeking a Senior DC Pensions Consultant to join our specialist DC team in the delivery of DC services to a large portfolio of clients. Our DC team is one of the largest, fully integrated teams in the UK and we offer flexible working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and manage customised defined contribution plans both globally and locally.
- Align organisational objectives with workforce demographics and employee behaviours to identify how employers can help improve retirement outcomes for their employees while meeting workforce management needs.
- Build new and develop existing business through maintaining relationships, networking, attending events, seminars, and being a knowledgeable expert in DC.
- Be responsible for Global DC management, helping clients analyse their plans both globally and locally, and optimising plan design features.
- Work with corporate sponsors, trustee boards of trust-based schemes, and governance committees of contract-based schemes.

About the Role
- Be an expert in Defined Contribution Pensions.
- Serve as a lead consultant on clients delivering and promoting our services.
- Review calculations and work produced by junior consultants and analysts using Mercer software/tools.
- Manage your own portfolio by assessing the performance, trends, business insights to ensure we are servicing our clients at the highest level.
- Contribute to future strategy for the team, working with the leadership team and local business leaders from other lines of business.
Requirements
- Relevant professional qualification such as PMI, FIA/FFA, or CFA.
- Proven experience in managing projects and exceeding client expectations.
