Production Engineer Role

A day in the life of a Production Engineer at Siemens Energy involves supporting the build of Gas Turbine Packages in our Lincoln facility. This includes liaising with various departments to ensure correct documentation, components, and instructions are available during the build phase. The goal is to achieve customer satisfaction with the final built product while maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

  1. Organize and coordinate production activities for the production team, ensuring instructions are released within the project plan.
  2. Develop and provide documentation for all activities, including specifications, drawings, and reports.
  3. Support problem-solving related to the technical aspects of the package build.
  4. Serve as the primary interface between Production and Package Engineering teams.


Requirements

  1. Experience in an engineering function within a similar industry, with project management expertise.
  2. Background in building projects within the power generation and oil & gas sectors.
  3. Ability to work within a multi-disciplined team environment.
  4. Experience in international project settings, with a degree in engineering or equivalent qualification.
  5. Proficiency in CAD systems.
