About the Role:

Fawkes & Reece South is seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for independently tendering projects valuing up to £10mil, working collaboratively with Surveying and Operational teams to produce competitive tenders, and mentoring junior members of staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  2. Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and information for tender submissions.
  3. Collaborate with the Surveying team to ensure accurate and comprehensive tender submissions.
  4. Work closely with the Operational team to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  5. Mentor and support junior members of staff to develop their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Estimator or equivalent role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
