A Chester-based law firm is looking for a skilled conveyancing assistant to join their property team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in legal administration or secretarial work, ideally with conveyancing experience.

Estimated Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 per annum

Location: Chester City Centre

Job Description:
  • Liaise with clients and third parties to facilitate transaction progression
  • Manage documentation, identification, mortgage offers, and search requirements
  • Prepare essential documents for conveyancing procedures
  • Compile completion packs for the accounting department, including completion statements and invoices
  • Handle post-completion matters as directed by the team leader
  • Ensure timely completions on the day of completion
  • Provide general administrative support
