About the Position

We are currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Lecturer in Health and Social Care position at our Yeovil location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and mentoring to students on our BSc (Hons) Social Work programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and assess students on the BSc (Hons) Social Work programme.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring it meets the needs of our diverse community.
  • Support learners in their professional growth, fostering a culture of excellence in teaching and learning.
Requirements
  • A BSc (Hons) or BA (Hons) Social Work degree.
  • A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
  • Strong passion for teaching, supporting learners, and promoting ongoing research and professional development in the social work field.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
