Join Our Team as a Senior Child Protection Practitioner
Somerset County Council is looking for an experienced social worker to join our Children Looked After Team as a Senior Child Protection Practitioner. This role involves managing complex cases and mentoring junior team members.
The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to build professional relationships with families and evidence exceptional care planning skills. You should be registered with Social Work England and have experience working within social care.
As a Senior Child Protection Practitioner, you will work closely with multi-agency teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for vulnerable children and young people. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through our extensive training programs.
We offer a competitive salary of £40,476 - £44,711 per annum, depending on experience, as well as flexible working arrangements and opportunities for career progression.
