Parish Office Coordinator

The Parish Secretary plays a vital role in supporting the Pastor and Parish Staff in their daily tasks and responsibilities. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Responsibilities
• Greet and direct visitors and parishioners
• Prepare and disseminate church publications, announcements, and communications
• Manage records and files, including sacramental documents and volunteer lists
• Coordinate events, appointments, and meetings as needed
• Develop and implement efficient organizational systems for workflow management
Requirements
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and computer software
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Working Conditions
• Part-time position with variable hours (15-20 hours/week)
