Financial Reconciliation Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join Ardonagh Advisory's growing Client Money Team. As a Financial Reconciliation Specialist, you will be responsible for handling Client Money, a FCA regulated service, and ensuring exceptional customer service and CASS compliance is maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate reconciliation of our members' client bank accounts to their broking systems in accordance with FCA CASS regulations and Client Money Service level agreements.
  • Reconciliation of Insurer Accounts for allocated members in accordance with the member's supplementary agreement and to the insurer's credit terms.
  • Action and resolve queries effectively that may arise from Insurer payments, insurer reconciliations or the cashbook reconciliations in accordance with customer and internal SLAs.
  • Capture all instances of breaches of FCA CASS rules and Broker Network procedures within the internal audit document and awareness of any unusual activity.
  • Detailed understanding of Ardonagh procedures and the relevant CASS 5 rules.
  • Identification and prevention, where possible, of CASS breaches.
  • Interpret / input data from daily, weekly and monthly reports.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned i.e. Second Signatures Cheques, Client refunds, Bank Account Administration, scanning, indexing and filing.

Requirements

We are looking for a detailed orientated, organised, proactive individual with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively by all mediums, both internally and externally and who can process high volumes quickly and efficiently accurately. You must be competent using Excel and Outlook and be able to learn new systems quickly.
