Job Summary:
Deloitte - Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Finance Reconciliation Specialist to join our team. As a Finance Reconciliation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring payments are completed and expenses are controlled by receiving payments, processing, verifying, and reconciling balance sheets according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bank reconciliations; verifying entries and comparing system reports to balance sheets
- Analyse large datasets within Excel and SAP
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies working with broader teams
- Work within quality and compliance frameworks
- Analyse current processes and recommend improvements
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree and preferably with at least 2 years experience with bank reconciliations
- Prior experience with SAP
- Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in German
- Basic knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements
- General math skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerised accounting and spreadsheet programs
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
- Excellent data entry skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, a critical thinker
- Ability to work independently or as a team member
