Autism Education Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with autism in a primary school setting. As a key member of the autism department, you will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff to ensure each child receives the right support to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting children with autism on a one-on-one and small group basis to ensure they engage with their learning.
- Assisting teachers in creating and adapting lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of students with autism.
- Helping students build their social, emotional, and behavioural skills in a safe and supportive environment.
- Collaborating with the school's SEN team, teachers, and parents to monitor progress and develop strategies for supporting students' development.
