We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and drive the delivery of strategic transformational change projects within the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA). As a key member of our digital team, you will be responsible for managing complex, medium to high-risk technical programmes or projects, delivering changes via multi-disciplinary, matrix-managed teams.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Day-to-day management and leadership of the project and the project team, providing effective leadership and management controls, setting project controls, designing the project structure and organisation, and managing effective transition between project phases.
- Risks & Issues: Identifying and monitoring project risks and issues, developing mitigating actions, and escalating as appropriate, as well as identifying and working with related projects to manage interdependencies.
- Budget: Developing the budget and tracking delivery within budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Identifying and managing stakeholder relationships and need for senior-level support, managing internal and external relationships as appropriate.
The DVLA Digital Team is responsible for delivering innovative, transformative digital-led services that optimise the nation's interactions with our services. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on projects that have a ripple effect, changing the way 50 million people interact with our services.
