Project Manager

SmartPro is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join their team in Swansea. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising projects to meet management's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with management to identify project requirements, delivery timelines, resource allocation, and costs.
- Develop detailed project schedules and Gantt charts to guide project teams, revising them as needed based on changing requirements.
- Coordinate project teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
- Monitor project performance to ensure timely delivery, identifying and addressing any deviations from the plan.
- Adhere to the company's new product development tollgate process, ensuring all required gates and checkpoints are properly followed and documented.
- Compile and submit project status reports to management, providing updates on project milestones, risks, and achievements.
- Develop effective communication skills to liaise efficiently with all project stakeholders.
- Conduct project closeout activities, evaluating successes and challenges to facilitate learning for future projects.
Requirements:
- Experience in launching new product development projects within the consumer goods industry, preferably in an international setting.
- Demonstrate expertise in end-to-end NPD project management, from concept creation to market introduction. Familiar with tollgate processes.
- Hold a project qualification such as Prince2, APM, or PMICSM.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Project or other project management software.
- Undergraduate Degree or equivalent education.
