About this role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Assistant to join our dynamic team at Bures Ward. As a key member of our healthcare support staff, you will provide vital assistance to patients across various clinical specialities.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist Registered Nursing staff in patient assessment and ongoing care, under supervision.
  • Support patients in their recovery, engaging in therapeutic activities to promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Maintain a safe and clean clinical environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Able to work effectively as part of a team, providing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably within an acute care environment.
  • Possess a Care Certificate or equivalent relevant skills.
  • Evidence of completed competencies, ideally as part of a professional portfolio.
  • Level 3 vocational qualification or equivalent experience.
