Family Wellbeing Coordinator

We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Family Wellbeing Coordinator at Meadowpark in Haddington.

In this rewarding role, you will work closely with families to remove barriers to their children's education and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with vulnerable young people and families.

A sound understanding of community support networks and agencies is essential for this role, as is a commitment to professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing a vital link between home and school to promote engagement, pupil wellbeing, and support the whole family unit.
  • Working closely with class teachers, learning support assistants, and the pupil support worker to develop and implement individualised support plans.
  • Supporting pupils with autism and other complex needs to access education and overcome barriers to learning.

Requirements:

  • Educated to SVQ Level 1, General Standard Grade, National 4 or equivalent in English.
  • A full current driving licence is desirable for this post.
  • PVG membership is essential for this role.

Salary: £28,322 - £30,257 per year pro rata (£15.58 per hour), depending on experience.
