Substance Misuse Intervention and Outreach Worker

Join our dedicated team of professionals in delivering vital support services for individuals and communities affected by substance misuse.

In this role, you will work closely with our Focused Intervention Team, contributing to the delivery of evidence-based interventions and promoting the Forward Leeds service through community outreach and engagement.

Key Tasks:
  • Provide targeted interventions for service users experiencing substance misuse issues, including non-opiate and alcohol-related problems.
  • Engage with the local community through events, presentations, and one-to-one interactions, promoting the Forward Leeds service and offering guidance and support.
Required Skills:
  • Experience in substance misuse intervention and community outreach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals and groups.
  • Caseload management skills.
Estimated Salary: £30,000 per annum
