The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Clinical Addiction Specialist to join our multi-disciplinary team. This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Specialist COMHAD Practitioner to provide specialist addiction treatment, including psychosocial and pharmacological interventions, harm reduction, and risk management to service users with co-existing mental health and/or pregnancy needs.

About the Role

This role will involve working alongside a diverse and skilled team consisting of Consultant Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurses, Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, and Specialist Midwives. Excellent training and support from Forward Leeds and LYPFT will be provided.

The successful candidate will have experience working across life courses and care settings with 'difficult to treat' populations, undertaking risk assessment and management of clients with complex needs and trauma.

  • Car driver with Full clean driving licence
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £43,041 - £57,117 per annum, depending on experience, as well as excellent employee wellbeing support, 27 - 33 days annual leave, flexible working, and remote working arrangements.
