Security Operations Supervisor

Wilson James is a leading managed service provider dedicated to delivering tailored solutions and top-tier customer service. We are seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Supervisor to join our team at our client site in London, South Kensington.
As a Security Operations Supervisor, you will play an active role in the Security team, responsible for actively protecting the whole of the estate, including its collections and assets. You will also maintain a secure and safe environment for visitors, staff, and contractors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively monitoring CCTV for the prevention of crime and ensuring the Health and Safety of staff and visitors.
- Dealing with fire system isolations and reactivations, after receiving correct permits.
- Responding to alarms on the access control system and dispatching officers in response to case alarms.
- Updating changes in access permissions where required, in cases where urgent access requirements are requested and after appropriate checks have been made about their right of access.
- Accurately maintaining the fire log.
- Dispatching initial first aid response immediately and finding cover for must-man positions as a result.
- Dispatching initial incident response to operational incidents such as lift entrapments, lost children, etc.
- Checking contractor entry to site permits before allowing contractors to work on site.
- Coordinating the logging and storage of high-value lost property.
- Managing the issue of high-risk keys and fobs and keys held in Traka.
- Ensuring the completion of weekly BGU tests, panic alarm tests, and lift phone checks.
Requirements:
- DS & CCTV SIA Licence
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Basic IT Skills
- Demonstrating the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
- Having an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary
- Maintaining a high standard of personal presentation
- Demonstrating reliability, including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability
- Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team.
- Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from the public.
- First Aid
