Level 4 Teaching Assistant Opportunity

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 4 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in Sleaford. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the development and growth of students in a positive and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and providing targeted support to students, including those with special educational needs.
  • Plan and deliver intervention sessions to small groups or individual students, and assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, and support with the management of classroom behaviour to create a safe learning space.
  • Encourage and motivate students to reach their full potential, and work effectively as part of a team.
Requirements:
  • A Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred, and strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • A positive and proactive approach to supporting students' learning, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service, or be willing to apply for one.
